Hello world!

Welcome to the World of HITW!

Talented employees  maximise marketplace opportunities for organisations! A critical success factor for every single organisation, whether for profit or not, whether public or private enterprise, is to concentrate on maximizing the talents of key staff and retain them  because they have the ability, the drive and energy to dollarize  the vision!

Do you know what is the No 1 Challenge for Executives in the Twenty First Century?

The No 1 challenge is without a doubt the  sourcing and retention of high performing employees. These are the individuals  who have the brain, the body, the heart and the soul to commit to growing the t.  Employees who are smart, energetic, manageable and have the drive to succeed are able to overcome all obstacles to deliver the product/service on time, at the right quantity and quality, every time, keeping costs down and returns up.

Are you aware of the effects of talent on your organisation’s success?

Have you even identified your ‘A’ level performers who have the right ability and the willingness to navigate the turbulence and change of unchartered competitive landscapes? Do you know that retaining and developing talent is a bigger challenge than attracting and selecting talent? While getting the right people matters, its what you do with them that makes the difference.

Despite fluctuating unemployment rates, the competition to source, hire and retain top candidates has remained consistent and fierce across most industries throughout the world.  Those executives who are not aware of the looming talent shortage are already left lagging behind unable to execute their winning strategies until they make TM a priority.   This is particularly true of the small to medium size enterprises.

 What is TM?

It is a mindset – a perspective that presumes that talented individuals play a central role in the success of an organisation.  What does TM mean for you? It means finding the best processes and systems that support the corporate objective of hiring and retaining only the best people. It’s a question of selecting and implementing software, identifying the most productive sourcing channels, and creating a feedback loop that links employee performance to the selection process. It’s about formulating a comprehensive hiring forecast and an analysis of how you can keep your workforce fully staffed. It’s reinforcing your employment brand. TM must not be confused with the complexities of HR administration which focuses primarily on benefits and compliance issues. Rather, TM is a set of tools and technologies that help every manager to make good decisions about their talent needs.

Turning talented people into ‘A’ level performers creates your competitive edge.  Most studies reveal that more than ninety percent of companies do not have enough talented managers to pursue all of their most promising business opportunities and even those who have them are in danger of losing them. TM is therefore a powerful driver for superior organisational performance.

Effective TM has to start at the top.

Attracting, developing, and retaining talented people is the stuff of competitive advantage.  Improving the strength of the talent pool is among the top three priorities for every senior executive.  Just as the financial perspective is pervasive in an organisation, and the customer perspective should be but often is not, so too must TM become a way for managers with which to view their competitive horizon.
